A pair of soft light brown leather walking out shoes. English 1825 1830 Out-door shoes are very difficult to find, especially with an early 19th century date.
Light brown leather which is soft and supple, all hand stitched of course and with the original ties to the front (found in the toe of the shoe). These ties are of silk and are very worn. However, they are original, but could be changed if wished.
The soles are of leather and show signs of use which is to be expected. The inside is beige linen, also with modest signs of use.
These shoes are in very good - excellent antique condition. Seldom seen in this type of shoe.
The worn ties may be an issue for some, but we feel it better to keep everything original.
Measurements: just under 10"
The shoe colour is slightly richer in tone than shown.
